About Us
Built on faith. Driven by purpose.
Our Hearts Their Homes was born from personal experience — a survivor's determination and a blind pastor's vision — united by the belief that every life holds infinite worth.
Our Story
It started with one thought and one act of courage.
Our Hearts Their Homes INC began with a single thought shared between two unlikely founders. One was blind at birth — Pastor Frank Eberle, a man of extraordinary faith who proved that true vision has nothing to do with sight. The other was a survivor of domestic violence who understood firsthand the desperate need for safe shelter for battered women and children. Together, we set out to build what neither of us had when we needed it most.
It has not been an easy road. But Pastor Frank has taught us the greatest secret in life — it is not about gaining the world, but about helping the less fortunate in it. Every hair on our head is numbered. God knows us each by name. We are chosen by Him. That conviction is the foundation of everything we do, and it drives every housing placement, every service, and every volunteer hour we give.
What began as a single transitional housing unit has grown into a comprehensive nonprofit serving six distinct populations across our region. We are building a network of volunteers and donors who share our conviction — that every person is chosen, every person is worthy, and every person deserves a door they can close and a place they can truly call home.
